Conservation Areas Wirral

Conservation Areas Wirral is a forum of all Wirral’s 26 Conservation Areas. The Forum was established in 2014 as a voluntary-run organisation with members drawn from all of Wirral’s active Conservation Areas. It works with Wirral Residents, Wirral Council and Historic England to promote and protect the distinct character of Wirral’s Conservation Areas and to ensure they can be accessed and enjoyed by all, both now and in the future by:

  • Encouraging residents to play a full and active role in caring for Wirral’s Conservation Areas.
  • Advocating and influencing relevant bodies on their behalf.
  • Promoting education, networking and skills-sharing opportunities, and
  • Providing advice to residents and local groups and societies in the conservation of Wirral

For more details and to view their first project see their leaflet setting out the advantages and obligations of living in a conservation area

CAW will not be hosting an AGM this year (possibly postponed till Spring 2021) However the Annual Report for 2019/20 is available to view here
