The Society has produced a new advice leaflet setting out how we can all help to look after our Conservation Area.  Oxton’s special character comes from its wonderful stone walls, its abundance of trees and its fine collection of heritage buildings. All have a certain amount of protection from the Council’s Planning Rules.  The leaflet, which was distributed to every address in the Conservation Area earlier this year, reminds us about the rules. It also offers advice on how we can go beyond the rules and make good choices to help preserve and enhance the Conservation Area. The leaflet can be viewed here.
